Phoenix Gallery/Phoenix Underground
This art gallery in downtown Lawrence features art from over 500 local, regional, and national artists. With such a diverse collection of functional and decorative pieces, you'll undoubtedly find something to treasure.
This locally sourced art gallery and gift shop is artist-focused. It breaks the mold of traditional galleries by letting its vendors keep 80% of what they make. Find inspiration and support artists and their craft all in one beautiful space!

Enjoy the libations and cuisines from some of Alyssa and Ben's Favorite watering holes and restaurants on Mass!
-Ben highly recommends the Masala Chai and the Garlic Naan.
-Alyssa's favorite is the Saag Paneer and Vegetable Biryani.
-Ben loves the short-rib gnocchi with the 746 Old Fashioned.
-Alyssa has a soft spot for the Gluten Free Mac n Cheesemonger with the In a Pickle.
-We always order the Bee Stings as a starter!
-Ben and Alyssa's favorite order is one to share; we order the GF Eggplant Caprese, GF Braised Bacon, and Steak and Frites. Ben enjoys the WDKL Gimlet and Alyssa always gets the Sazerac.
-Enjoy an artisan cocktail from this unmistakably Lawrence favorite! You can't go wrong with any of their cocktails but Ben's favorite is the Orange Buck and Alyssa likes the Corpse Reviver (a little too much!)
In the mood for casual and Thai? Zen Zero is the place!
-Ben loves the Yellow Curry with an Iced Jasmine Tea.
-Alyssa cycles through the Green, Panang, and Massaman Curries with an Iced Jasmine Tea.
-Our favorite starter is the Fried Calamari!
Craving artisan burgers and cocktails? Check out The Casbah!
-Ben likes The Smoke burger with an IBC Root Beer Float.
-Alyssa orders the Black and Blue Burger as a salad with a classic Old Fashioned.
-We always split a truffle fry basket.
A true hidden gem, this artisan cocktail bar requires a reservation and is worth the effort! If you'd like a uniquely Lawrence night out, you must try John Brown's! John Brown's creates a completely new themed cocktail menu every three months—enjoy the adventure, and make sure to plan an Uber!
